The
elevator motor is a direct drive (gearless) permanent magnet,
low speed, inverter fed synchronous motor.
It is developed in a new technology, being provided to be mounted
directly to the hosting rail. The motor offers significant
energy savings compared with older conventional two- speed,
induction motor with gear box.
The service type of motor can be programmed via inverter as
acceleration and constant speed range. A safety electromagnetic
brake is provided.
