ELECTRICAL MACHINES TESTING LABORATORY

The testing laboratory has an installed power of 1 MVA having the possibility of supplying in c.c., a.c., variable voltage in the range 0-750 V and variable frequency between 0-400 Hz.

The braking machines (direct current or eddy currents) necessary for loading the tested machines can develop loading torques in the range of 10, 50, 200 and 1000 Nm. There is the possibility to be measured dynamic torques using the Hottinger-Baldwin transducers.

There are on the one hand electrical apparatus for measurements of high class, metrological verified periodically, and on the other hand high qualified staff in order to fulfill all the standards requirements.

The vibrations and noise level of the electrical machines and other electrical equipments can be controlled using the specialized B&K apparatus.
